A day long event for Central Texas bloggers to discuss tips and technology. Local bloggers will give presentations on a wide range of topics from ways to generate revenue from your blog, effective use of social media, crowdfunding to the best WordPress plugins and themes.

Coffee will be served in the morning. Lunch is included and we'll have a Champagne Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

Also parking is free at the Weston Centre.

1:30 – 2:00 p.m. Inga Munsinger Cotton on legal issues

2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Debi Aronson Pfitzenmaier “Email Marketing”

2:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. – Colleen McGinley Pence with Social Media Mentoring on Social Media for Bloggers

3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Stacy Teet “WordPress Plugins for Bloggers”

3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. – Blogger panel with Kim Murray McDonald, Denise Barkis Richter, Colleen Pence and others with Debi Aronson Pfitzenmaier moderating.

4:30 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. “Raising Money through Crowdfunding” Laura Lorek, founder of Silicon Hills News.

5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Happy Hour with Champagne, fruit, cheese and crackers.  

Also, you can work in the commons area or in a conference room in groups or by yourself at any time. Geekdom has Wi-Fi and plenty of plugs and lots of comfy couches, bean bags and chairs and desks. You don't have to sit and listen to the presentations the entire time. You can break into groups and discuss particular topics or seek help on a particular issue.
